This is my 1966, fastback Mustang, sadly it rusted out from the heavily salted roads in New York City.
It was an all original car, 289 4 speed, in need of a serious make over, pretty much every thing underneath the car was rotten, the frame rails, front and rear.
I replaced 33 panels, put in a new TCI 3 link suspension in the rear on a Ford 9" possi and the front was replaced with a Mustang II rack and pinion steering and 12" Wellwood disc brakes, on all four corners.
After 2 1/2 months of working day and night we final have a rolling chassis, I also tubed out the rear wheels to take 17 X 8's.
The new motor going in is a 351 W, with tons of high performance parts that pulled 431 hp on the dyno, still needs some TLC, the tranny is a Tremec 5 speed........ SWEET,
